Excelled in multiple sports in State, National & International Competitions.

American Birkebeiner the nations largest cross country ski event.
Only athlete to receive more than ten Master of the year awards in MN triathlon history.
Age class winner of Masters World Cup Ski races.
Actively involved in local sports community, organizes events, workshops and training sessions that have had a lasting impact on both individual athletes and the broader community.
Actively involved in creating and supporting  programs that empower women in sports. ​

Holds 29 Minnesota age records at distances from 1 mile to full marathon.
Completed a Marathon in all 50 states & DC under four hours.
Completed the six Major World Marathons top 3 in each.
Ranked as the top America Marathon Runner - Women ages 65-69.
Has run Boston qualifying time in 113 of 116 marathons.

Member world champion U.S. 4 X 100 meter team at World Masters Championships Gothenburg, Sweden that set American record.
Multiple Gold, Silver and Bronze medals in Minnesota indoor and outdoor championships, National Senior games National USATF Masers and Mid America USATF Masters meets.
Volunteer Coach for school track team.
Volunteer official for Minnesota Special Olympics and USATF events.

Twenty-five years as player and leader- Roseville Senior Softball Association.
MVP World Senior Softball Championships- Las Vegas.
Multiple times on the All Tournament team at World Senior Softball Championships.
During his 25 years in various leadership positions, Roseville Senior Softball Assn. has grown from 14 teams in 2 leagues to 25 teams in 4 leagues.

Started competing in senior games at the age of 87.

​Selected as inspiration for Blue Cross Blue Shield ad encouraging activity and health for seniors.

The MN River Bats/Ancell 70 Major team was undefeated in 2024 in championship play in winning seven tournaments in six states including three National/World Championships.
